Angle Beam Angle Determination (IIW Block).
a.
Position the search unit on scale A or B as shown in Figure 1-19. Move the search unit back and
forth until the peak signal from the hole is obtained.
b.
Read the refracted angle from the position on scale A or B coinciding with the point-of-incidence.
In Figure 1-19, P-1 shows 60o; and P-2 shows 45o.
