Angle Beam Angle Determination (IIW Block).
a.
Position the search unit on scale ‘‘A’’ or ‘‘B’’ as shown in Figure 1-19. Move the search unit back and
forth until the peak signal from the hole is obtained.
b.
Read the refracted angle from the position on scale ‘‘A’’ or ‘‘B’’ coinciding with the point-of-incidence.
