Grasp knob on top offuse holder and unscrew about 1/4-turn.Pull knob straight out; fuse will come with it.Pull fuse out of knob.h.To install new fuse, insert end of fuse intoknob of fuse holder. Insert other end offuse into holder, push down on knob, andscrew in about 1/4-turn to lock. Turn onswitch S1 on top of power supply.i.To remove status processor, turn offswitch S1 on top of power supply. Tag anddisconnect Data Transmitter wires fromTB6 and TB7. Remove screws that secureTransmitter to standoffs in CU. Be carefulnot to drop Transmitter inside CU. RemoveData Transmitter. Loosen two screws thatsecure plug P1 to bottom of statusprocessor. Pull plug P1 straight down todisconnect it. Remove screws that securestatus processor to top of CU enclosureand it will drop straight down.j.To install new status processor, position itunder standoffs in top of CU. Insert screwsand tighten to secure status processor.Insert plug P1 into connector on bottom ofprocessor, and push up. Tighten screws tosecure plug P1. Position Data Transmitterover standoffs in CU and insert screws.Tighten screws to secure Transmitter.Connect wires to TB6 and TB7 in CU. Turnon switch S1 on top of power supply.k.To remove PC boards from statusprocessor, turn off switch SI on top ofpower supply. To remove board Al throughAll, place thumb or finger under boardejector and lift up until board pops out ofreceptacle at back of status processor.Then grasp PC board and pull straight out.To remove board A12, CAREFULLY pullstraight out to unplug it from PC board All.Ensure that pins on All are not bent orotherwise damaged.l.To install new PC boards Al through All,note that boards A1 through A6 areidentical and may be installed in any slot,one through six. Each of these boards aremarked A1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. PC boards A7through All are all different and each boardis keyed to fit only in the correct slot.These boards are marked A7, or A8, or A9,or A10, or A11. Turn all PC boards so thatplastic board ejector is toward top. Alignboard with guides at top and bottom ofstatus processor. Slide board straight inuntil it contacts receptacle at back ofprocessor. Then press firmly on board untilit seats completely in receptacle. To installa new A12 PC board, remove board A11.Align sockets on board with pins on PCboard All. CAREFULLY press A12 untilpins are fully engaged in sockets. Ensurethat pins on All are not bent or otherwisedamaged. Install PC board A11. Turn onswitch S1 on top of power supply.m.To remove LATCH/NON-LATCH switchturn off switch S1 on top of power supply.Remove hex nut and lock washer fromswitch. Push switch through hole in panel.Catch keyed washer when it drops out. Itmay be necessary to cut one or two cableties in order to pull switch out far enough todisconnect wires. Tag wires and use asoldering iron of 50 watts maximum toremove wires from switch terminals.n.To install new LATCH/NON-LATCH switch,see figure 5-3 for switch terminal and wireidentification. Use a soldering iron of 50watts maximum to connect wires to switchterminals. Replace any cable ties that wereremoved for switch removal. Place keyedwasher over switch. Ensure that tang onwasher projects forward so it will engagehole in panel under switch hole. Insertswitch through hole in panel from the rear.Place lock washer and hex nut overthreaded portion of switch, and tighten hexnut to secure switch. Turn on switch S1 ontop of power supply.5-123
