Section IV. UNIT PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE CHECKS AND
SERVICES (PMCS)
Unit PMCS is performed upon receipt and in accordance with table 2-1. Record all defects found during the
performance of PMCS and, if applicable, the steps taken to correct them on DA Form 2404, Equipment
Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet. Instructions for reporting/correcting noted deficiencies are
contained in DA PAM 738-750.
