Pushswitch through hole in panel.Catch keyed washer when it dropsout. Cut cable ties if necessary topull switch out. Tag wires and usea soldering iron of 50 watts maxi-mum to remove wires from switchterminals.(2) To install new LATCH/NON-LATCHswitch, use a soldering iron of50 watts maximum to connectwires to switch terminals. Replaceany cable ties that were cut forswitch removal. Place keyedwasher over switch. Ensure thattang on washer projects forward soit will engage hole in panel underswitch hole. Insert switch throughhole in panel from the rear. Placelock washer and hex nut overthreaded portion of switch; tightenhex nut to secure switch.(3) Turn on switch S1 on power supply.Depress TRANSMITTER RESYNCswitch S2. Wait about 5 minutesfor system to stabilize. Turn modeswitch to TEST/RESET and thento SECURE.p.Turn mode switch to SECURE. Set LATCH/NON-LATCH switch, S5, to LATCH.Set multimeter to ohms and connectleads to TB6, terminals S1-D andS1-DR. Meter should indicate less than2,000 ohms.q.Remove and then reconnect wire onTB8-F-1. Meter should indicate morethan 100,000 ohms until mode switchis turned to RESET.5-74
