Wait about 5 minutes for system tostabilize. During 5-minute stabilizationperiod, check power supply. Set multi-meter to dc volts and connect negativelead to chassis (ground). Connect positivelead to power supply, TB2-3. Metershould indicate 20 ±1 vdc. Connect posi-tive lead to TB2-5 vdc. Meter should in-dicate 5 0.25 vdc. Connect lead toTB2-2. Meter should indicate 28 2 vdc.e.Set multimeter to dc volts and connect posi-tive lead to J8-18 and negative lead tochassis. Meter should indicate 28 +2 vdc.(1)If meter indication is not correctat J8-18, connect positive meterlead to power supply TB2-2 andnegative lead to chassis. Metershould indicate 28 ±2 vdc.(2)If meter does not indicate 28 +2 vdcat TB2-2, replace power supply.(3)To remove power supply, pull main cir-cuit breaker to remove 120 vacfrom CU. Disconnect wires frombattery. As battery is heavy, liftand turn it to remove from bot-tom of CU enclosure. Tag anddisconnect wires from TB2 andTB4. Remove screws that securecover, and remove cover. Tag anddisconnect wires from TB1. Care-fully remove screws that securepower supply to side of CU en-closure. Be careful not to drop itinside CU. Note cable clamp underscrew near TB4 (bottom front).Support power supply and turn itso wires can be tagged and discon-nected from TB3 on bottom ofpower supply.(4)To install new power supply, removecover, and turn unit so TB3 is ac-cessible.
