Support power supply andturn it so wires can be tagged anddisconnected from TB3 on bottomof power supply.(2)To install new power supply, removecover, and turn unit so TB3 is acces-sible. Support power supply, andconnect wires to TB3. Turn powersupply upright and position it overstandoffs on side of CU enclosure.Note that cable clamp goes underscrew on bottom front of powersupply. Insert screws and tightento secure power supply. Connectwires to TB1. Replace cover andsecure with screws. Connect wiresto TB2 and TB4. Position batteryoutside CU enclosure. Carefullyinsert battery end first; turn andlower it into bottom of CU enclos-ure. Connect wires to battery ter-minals. Switch on main circuitbreaker.(3)Turn on switch S1 on power supply.Depress TRANSMITTER RESYNCswitch S2. Wait about 5 minutes forsystem to stabilize. During 5-minutestabilization period, check powersupply. Set multimeter to dc voltsand connect negative lead to chassis(ground). Connect positive lead topower supply, TB2-3. Meter shouldindicate 20 1 vdc. Connect posi-tive lead to TB2-5. Meter should in-dicate 5 0.25 vdc. Connect lead toTB2-2. Meter should indicate 28 + 2vdc. Turn mode switch to TEST/RESET and then to SECURE.5-46
