Authorizedprotective equipment must be worn by allpersonnel in the work area.WARNINGWhile performing maintenance or troubleshooting on theControl Unit, ensure that test points and terminals arenever grounded or shorted to each other or to chassis.This will cause serious damage to the internalcomponents.CAUTIONWhen taking measurements with amultimeter, ensure that the meter is set totheproper scale and range before insertingprobes into the circuit.NOTEIf the Audible Alarm is installed, it must bedisabled BEFORE any troubleshootingprocedures are attempted. Disabling thealarm requires setting the key-operatedswitch on Control Unit to TEST/ RESETposition, opening Audible Alarm, removingfaceplate, and turning off power switch.After troubleshooting, the Audible Alarmmust be reactivated. Activating the Alarmrequires setting the key operated switch onControl Unit to TEST/RESET position,turning Alarm power switch on, replacingfaceplate, closing and locking AudibleAlarm door.5-6
