Discharge the fixed capacitor as soon as the ignition distributor

Unscrew and remove four machine screws (1) and four internal tooth lock

Touching only the edges, lift off ignition distributor cap (3). Shake ignition

terminal sleeve (4) out of ignition distributor cap (3).

Fixed capacitor (5)
WARNING
Discharge fixed capacitor (5) as soon as ignition distributor
cap (3) is removed. Do not touch any metal parts inside the
combustor ignition magneto until fixed capacitor (5) is fully
discharged. Failure to do so will cause a severe electrical
shock.
