Disconnect wires.Remove mounting screws and lock washersand remove transformer.(2) To install new transformer, cut transformerwires to proper length and install crimp ter-minals. Position transformer on inner enclo-sure and install mounting screws and lockwashers. Connect wires to terminal board.f.Defectivea.Set multimeter to ac volts. Connect leads to TB3-6speaker.and TB3-7. If meter indicates 18 +2 vac, replacespeaker.(1) To remove speaker, loosen collar on connectorP2. Turn metal tab 90 degrees and discon-nect P2 from J2. Tag and disconnect wiresthat run from terminal boards to conduit.Slide the inner enclosure out of the outerenclosure. Place inner enclosure on bench.Note length and location of speaker wires.Disconnect wires from terminal board. Re-move mounting screws from rear of enclo-sure and remove speaker.(2) To install new speaker, cut speaker wires toproper length and install crimp lugs. Posi-tion speaker on inner enclosure. Installmounting screws through rear of inner en-closure. Connect wires to terminal board.5-27
