Be carefulnot to lose switch arm becauseit is not secured to switch shaft.Remove spacer and lock fromdoor so no items will be lost.Remove small hex nut and lockwasher that secures mountingbracket and switch stop toswitch shaft. Remove mount-ing bracket and switch stop.Note that mode switch is athree deck switch. Tag wiresand use a soldering iron of50 watts maximum to removethem from switch terminals.(2) To install new mode switch, use asoldering iron of 50 watts max-imum to connect wires to switchterminals. Slip mounting brac-ket and switch stop over switchshaft. Ensure that notch inmounting bracket fits over tabon switch body, and that thetang on switch stop engagesnotch in mounting bracket.Secure bracket and stop toswitch with lock washer andsmall hex nut. Insert lockthrough hole in CU door; slipspacer over lock. Slip switcharm over switch shaft. Ensurethat arm is aligned with tangon switch stop. Place largehex nut inside switch mounting5-97
