Section I. LUBRICATION
There are no components on the Pesticide Dispersal Unit, Multicapability, Helicopter Slung (PDU) that require lubrication.
Check engine oil and hydraulic fluid in accordance with Table 2-4, Operator Level PMCS. Refer to Appendix E for
appropriate fluids.
Section II. TROUBLESHOOTING
The troubleshooting procedures listed in table 3-1 are those that may be done by operator level personnel. Problems
that may arise during operation or maintenance of the PDU or its components are listed under Malfunction. Tests or
Inspections to conduct and Corrective Actions to take to repair the malfunction follow. Perform the tests/inspections and
corrective actions in the order listed.
This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective actions.
If a
malfunction is not listed or is not corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.
