If there is a positive pressure in the crankcase, go to Step 14.
Step 13. Check the crankcase breather assembly.
a. Remove the breather and clean it if necessary.

Remove the valve cover retaining nut and the valve cover.
(2)
Remove the breather seal and filter. If the filter is dirty and plugged, replace it.
(3)
Remove the gaskets and breather,
(4)
Replace the gaskets and clean all the other parts.
b. Reassemble the breather assembly and go to Step 12. Make sure the valve cover is securely tightened
to prevent oil leaks.
Step 14. Check the engine compression.
