h. Manifold Gage Set Removal (Refer to Figure 3-6)
Before disconnecting manifold gage set hoses, the manifold gage set valves must be set to
their closed (front seated) position. Failure to do so may result in injury to personnel.
(1) Set manifold high pressure gage valves (3) and low pressure gage valves (4) to their closed (front
seated) position.
(2)
Disconnect manifold low pressure gage hoses (7) and high pressure gage hoses (8) from low
service ports (5 and 9) and high service ports (6 and 10).
(3)
Disconnect center hoses (11) from recovery unit, vacuum pump, refrigerant or nitrogen.
(4) Install dust caps on all service valve ports (2).
Follow-on maintenance: Close or install ECU covers as required per para 2.14.1, remove ECU work platform
(reference TM 10-5410-228-10).
