Inspection Coverage.
Examples of bonded structures along with suggested inspection coverages are shown in Figure 5-67. Table 5-5 lists the
ultrasonic inspection methods applicable to the numbered coverages shown in the figure. Due to access limitations, it
will not be possible in many cases to apply the inspections in all the areas shown. These coverages and associated
methods are guidelines only. Details of inspection coverage and inspection methods for a particular assembly shall be
obtained from the applicable NDI manual or the depot engineering activity.
