Install mounting screws throughrear of inner enclosure. Connect J1 to P1 and installscrews, lock washers, and washers. Slide innerenclosure into outer enclosure. Route wires throughhole in rear of inner enclosure. Connect wires that runfrom terminal boards to conduits. Align notch on P2with J2 and connect P2 to J2. Lock metal tabs togetherand tighten collar on connector P2.e.Defectivea.Set multimeter to dc volts. Connect positive meter lead totamperP1-24 and negative meter lead to TB2-2.switch.b.If meter indicates 6 +0.5 vdc, connect positive meter lead toP1-12 and negative meter lead to TB2-2.c.If meter indicates less than 1 vdc, turn power switch S3 toPOWER OFF. Remove P2 from J2.d.Set the multimeter to ohms. Connect leads to tamper switchterminals that have wires connected.(1) Depress the switch plunger. Meter should indicate 0ohms.(2) Release the switch plunger. Meter should indicate morethan 100,000 ohms.e.If meter indications are not correct, replace tamper switch.5-13
