Remove the spark plug wire from the coil and check the connections for moisture.
If the
connections are wet, dry them and return the wire to the coil. Go to Step 4e.
(3)
If the coil is ok, go to Step 4b.
WARNING
DO NOT hold any ignition wires in your bare hands. You can be electrocuted. Use well-insulated
tools to hold the wires.

Check the secondary coil winding.
(1)
Remove the breaker point cover and jam the points open with a piece of cardboard.
(2)
Remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug.
(3)
Turn the ignition switch ON.
