SECTION III: LABELING REQUIREMENTS
* Packages containing a hazardous material must bear the label(s) specified in Column 6 of the
Hazardous
Material Table (Primary and Subsidiary hazard labels). This requirement does not apply to limited
quantities.
* Labels are prohibited on packages that do not contain a hazardous material (section 172.401).
* Labels must be printed on or affixed to the surface of the package near the PSN (section 172.406).
* Multiple labels must be placed next to each other within 150mm (section 172.406 (c)).
