Remove hex nut and lockwasher from switch. Push switchthrough hole in panel. Catch keyedwasher when it drops out. Cutcable ties if necessary to pull switchout. Tag wires and use a solderingiron of 50 watts maximum to re-move wires from switch terminals.(2) To install new LATCH/NON-LATCHswitch, use a soldering iron of 50watts maximum to connect wires toswitch terminals. Replace anycable ties that were cut for switchremoval. Place keyed washer overswitch. Ensure that tang on washerprojects forward so it will engagehole in panel under switch hole. In-sert switch through hole in panelfrom the rear. Place lock washerand hex nut over threaded portionof switch, and tighten hex nut tosecure switch.(3) Turn on switch S1 on power supply.Depress TRANSMITTER RESYNCswitch S2. Wait about 5 minutesfor system to stabilize. Turn modeswitch to TEST/RESET and thento SECURE.g.Turn mode switch S3 to SECURE and en-sure that no alarms are activated. SetLATCH/NON-LATCH switch to NON-LATCH. Set multimeter to ohms andconnect leads to TB6, terminals S1-Dand S1-DR. Meter should indicate lessthan 2,000 ohms.5-71
