The Control Unitoperator controls and indicators are shown in figure 2-1and described in table 2-1.2-2. NORMAL OPERATING PROCEDURES.a. Under normal conditions, the operating modeswitch (key operated) on the CU door is turned tothe ACCESS or SE-CURE position. The switch isturned to ACCESS to allow entry into the securearea, and is turned to SECURE to allowprotection of the secure area. The LATCH/NON-LATCH switch is normally placed in the LATCHposition. When it is in the LATCH position, themode switch is turned to TEST/RESET and thento either SECURE or ACCESS to clear an alarmcondition. When the LATCH/NON-LATCH switchis in the NON-LATCH position, the alarmcondition may be cleared at the Monitor Cabinet.This switch is not accessible to the operator andis set to one position or the other at the time ofinstallation.Figure 2-1.
