NBC SHELTER PRESSURE GAGE DOES NOT RESPOND (NO READING) WITH THE NBC FAN
OPERATING NBC FAN `PRESSURE LOW' ALARM STAYS ON.
Set POWER MODE selector switch to INT.
Set ESS MODE selector switch to OFF.
Turn ECV OFF.
Tag power panel and cab area.
Gain access to internal rear control panel
components (see para 2.13.22).
Check that hoses are connected to rear of
NBC SHELTER PRESSURE gage and not
damaged.
No
Hoses are connected
Connect hoses or replace damaged
and not damaged?
hoses (see para 2.13.22).
Yes
Turn ECV ON.
Set ESS MODE switch to VENT.
Turn NBC FAN on.
Observe ABS over-pressuring.
Does
No
Replace NBC SHELTER PRESSURE
NBC gage needle
gage A4PG1 (see para 2.13.23).
respond?
Yes
Turn ECV OFF.
Remove electrical connector from NBC
SHELTER PRESSURE gage.
Turn ECV ON.
Apply system power.
Measure 24 Vdc between pins A and E
of cable connector.
